I have just bought a sterling Europa anything I should look out for

Hi we are new to caravanning ,we are storing  our sterling Europa on our drive do I leave it plug in and charging with the fridge on our

just switch everything off

I'd leave it all switched off. Open your fridge door, on the catch, to stop it going mouldy inside.

 

Connect your leisure battery to a smart charger. I use one by Maypole, there's a post about it in the 12v section of the forum.

One caveat to removing your leisure battery to put on charge. Is if you have a Sargent Alarm system fitted to your 'van. This charges its on-board battery from your 12v system.

 

If you have one of these alarms fitted then leave your leisure battery connected with the 12v master switch left on. Connect a smart charger internally.
